Kilroy Corporate Center
3611 Valley Centre Drive
San Diego, CA 92130

The layout for the cab interiors was designed by Hurkes Harris Design Associates out of San Diego. In this elevator Kilroy Realty wanted to use a glass product that was similar to a product they used at 12400 High Bluff Drive in San Diego. Pulp Studios was used to manufacture the 5/16” laminated glass with a Crinkled Natural Silk substrate. These glass panels were installed on the rear wall with Stainless Steel #4 Satin finish frames. The reveal area between the panels is ˝” wide and filled with a Stainless Steel #4 Satin finish reveal, applied directly to the cab wall. The decorative face and edging of the side wall panels is Wilsonart “Wild Cherry”. The reveals on the side walls are similar to the rear wall, being ˝” wide, however the reveal material instead is Wilsonart “Black” plastic laminate. The previously existing Stainless Steel #4 Satin finish handrail was re-worked and retained being mounted through the lower glass panels on the rear wall. The suspended ceiling has a decorative face of Stainless Steel, and is unique in that it has two different levels, with the down lights being mounted in the outer level. The existing stainless steel base and stone flooring were retained.
