| Skyport Plaza 1700 Technology Drive San Jose, CA 95110 We were contracted for this project by Devcon Construction Inc. In these elevators the architect wanted to combine the use of wood veneer along with back painted glass. The wood wall panels were to be Quarter Figured Maple that was stained to match the wood being used in the Lobby area. The glass panels were manufactured by Fuller-Phoenix and is their “Glasspan” series of glass. The glass was back painted “Nugget Pearl Metallic” #10-02-350W. The wood panels along with the glass panels are separated by inset Stainless Steel bar stock with #8 mirror finish that is ¼” wide. The suspended ceiling is an eight section ceiling that is Stainless Steel #8 Mirror polished, with eight Contrast down lights. The flooring and base was provided by others.
